1. Who we are
ViralForge AI Studio ("the application") is a desktop application that runs on the user's own Windows computer. The developer does not operate any server that receives your data.
2. Information the application accesses from TikTok
- Basic profile (scope
user.info.basic): your TikTok open ID, display name and avatar URL, used only to show which account is connected. - Video upload (scope
video.upload): permission to send a video you choose to your own TikTok inbox as a draft, and to check the status of that upload.
3. How information is stored
- The refresh token is stored only on your computer, in Windows Credential Manager; the short-lived access token is kept only in memory while the application runs. Tokens are never shown in the application's interface or written to its logs.
- Your basic profile information is stored in the application's local database on your computer.
- No information is sold, shared with third parties, or used for advertising or tracking.
4. Information sent to TikTok
Only the video file you choose to send, and the API requests needed to sign in, upload it and check its status. Nothing is sent until you click the button to send a video to TikTok drafts.
5. Deleting your information
- Click Disconnect in the application's Settings: the application asks TikTok to revoke its access and deletes the tokens and profile information from your computer.
- You can also remove the application's access in your TikTok account settings.
- Deleting the application's folder removes all of its local data.
6. Children
The application is intended for adult content creators and is not directed at children.
